Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
1. Commits to the mission.
2. Leads, manages and develops the staff and the organization.
3. Exercises responsible financial stewardship.
4. Leads and manages fundraising.
5. Follows the highest ethical standards, ensures accountability and complies with the law.
6. Engages the Board in planning and leads implementation of policies.
7. Builds external relationships and serves as an advocate of the Library System.
8. Ensures the quality and effectiveness of programs.
9. Implements the decisions of the full Board.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
Work may require light physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.Work may occasionally demand strenuous effort in the handling of moderately heavy boxes or materials. Work may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
